A Design, Architectural and Project Management Company based in Sandton is looking for an Interior Designer to join their Team.
1. JOB TITLE:
Interior Designer
2. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of this position is to interact with various stakeholders (Clients, Project managers, Architects, Quantity surveyors, Construction managers, Procurement staff, Main contractors, sub-contractors and Suppliers) to conceptualise, design and coordinate the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing indoor spaces that enhance the comfort of the occupants.
3. DESCRIPTION OF FIELD OF DUTY (KPA’s):
• Inception
• Concept and Viability
• Design Development
• Construction Documentation and Procurement
• Closeout
• Innovation and Self Development
4. INFRASTRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS:
Standard office setup
Laptop with connection to corporate network and intranet
Mobile Phone (by employee)
Internet connection
5. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
National Diploma: Interior Design
6. WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 years’ experience in a similar role
7. SOFTWARE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Microsoft Office Suite
Relevant Design Software (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, Lumion, V-Ray)
Salary: R27 000 Gross (Depending on the Candidate’s current salary, skills, experience and qualifications
