Johannesburg-based 12 month contract position for a mid-level Architectural Technologist

About the ideal candidate
The ideal candidate for this role should be self-motivated, independent, and agile with excellent communication skills. The person should have the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment with a commitment to delivering an exceptional client service. Due to the design-focused nature of the practice, the suitable candidate should be eager to learn and grow their skills on the job as well to share their knowledge with others.
As an Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with the Project Architect focusing on the technical aspects of architectural design and construction processes. An understanding of building codes, regulations and standards is required with the ability to solve technical design issues. E¦iciency, attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work are essential qualities we seek in our candidates.

Minimum Job Requirements
• 8+ Years practical work experience
• Experience required in the preparation of technical construction documentation
• Experience required in preparing and managing Local Authority Submissions
• Intermediate to Advanced Revit proficiency
• Own transportation and willing to drive to various project sites would be preferred
• Experience required with on-site inspections, liaisons with the client, consultants and contractor, running on-site meetings and service-coordination

Salary Range
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience level
