Creditors Clerk Needed for Kitchen Design Company based in Sandton

Job Title: Creditors Clerk
Location: Marlboro area, Sandton
Company Overview:
A leading manufacturer of high-quality kitchens is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Creditors Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both creditors and debtors management, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience and a tertiary qualification in accounting or bookkeeping.
Salary: R15 – 20 000/m

Key Responsibilities:
• Process and reconcile creditor transactions for multiple group companies.
• Allocate payments, credit notes, and discounts to creditor accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments.
• Investigate and resolve supplier disputes, following up on credit notes as required.
• Provide suppliers with proof of payment and remittance advice.
• Maintain and report on creditors’ age analysis, highlighting outstanding items.
• Organize and maintain creditors’ documentation and filing systems.
• Assist creditors with queries and follow-ups.
• Ensure all invoices comply with SARS VAT regulations.
• Prepare and submit creditors’ reports in a timely manner.
• Manage the approval and authorization process for payments.
• Monitor and report on outstanding accounts, ensuring proper communication and resolution.
• Maintain documentation on all trade creditor transactions, communications, and payment arrangements.
• Perform general administrative duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a finance environment handling creditors, debtors, and accounts payable.
• Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software.
• Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial best practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
