About the Role
A well-established property management organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to step into a maternity-leave cover contract. This role requires someone who can immediately add value, operate independently, and seamlessly integrate into a dynamic, service-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Full financial accounting function for a diverse property portfolio
• Managing financial processes related to retail, industrial, and office properties
• Acting as financial support to property managers operating as managing agents for property owner clients
• Overseeing onboarding processes for new buildings and new clients, each with unique financial and operational requirements
• Engaging professionally with clients, service providers, and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, including taxation and reporting standards
• Providing leadership and guidance on financial best practices within the organisation

What We’re Looking For
Industry Experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant within:
o Property management companies acting as managing agents
o Portfolios consisting of retail, office, and industrial properties
Technical Skills
• Advanced expertise in MDA Property Management software (non-negotiable)
• Strong understanding of financial management requirements applicable to property owners and property management entities
• Proven ability to uphold governance, compliance, and statutory processes
Personal Attributes
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong client-relationship and stakeholder-management capabilities
• Detail-driven, organised, and adaptable
• Confident in leading and improving financial processes
