Job Title: Interior Designer/Architectural Draughtsman
Location: Cape Town, South Africa

As they continue to expand, they are on the lookout for a skilled Interior Designer or Architectural Draughtsman with a passion for retail design to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Detailed Layout Drawings: Create detailed and accurate layout drawings that cover all phases of the design process, from initial concept through to construction documentation.
• Signage Layouts & BIM Coordination: Develop signage layouts and integrate them into BIM models, ensuring seamless coordination with other design disciplines such as architecture, MEP, and structural engineering.
• Store Rollouts & Shop Fitting Packages: Oversee and execute the design and documentation for multiple store roll-outs, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations. Prepare comprehensive shop fitting packages that align with the project’s design intent.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior interior designers to bring projects to life, contributing your expertise and creativity. Maintain open communication with all team members to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to design.
• Rendering & Presentation: Utilize rendering and presentation skills to visualize design concepts for client presentations. (Experience in 3D Max with V-Ray is advantageous.)
Requirements:
• Educational Background: A Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Draughtsmanship, or a related field is essential.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in retail and interior design, with a solid portfolio showcasing your work in these areas.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design software. Familiarity with 3D Max and V-Ray will be a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of design and documentation.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.

• Competitive Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 Gross per month (Market-related, depending on the candidate’s current salary, skills, and experience).
