OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (MANUFACTURING & INSTALLATION)

A leading kitchen and design manufacturing business is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support the smooth flow of projects from production through to on-site installation.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on planning, coordination, and bringing structure to complex workflows. You will play a pivotal role in aligning manufacturing, logistics, and installation teams—ensuring accurate scheduling, clear communication, and efficient project execution.
About the Role:
You will act as the central link between factory production, delivery planning, and site teams—ensuring that all moving parts are aligned and that projects are delivered on time and with minimal disruption. This is a coordination-focused role, supporting decision-making through accurate data, forward planning, and clear reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate communication between manufacturing, logistics, and installation teams
• Compile and manage production updates, delivery timelines, and installation schedules
• Develop and maintain detailed planning programmes and look-ahead schedules
• Support site teams with accurate planning information and resource visibility
• Identify potential delays, risks, or scheduling conflicts and flag proactively
• Align delivery schedules with site readiness and installation capacity
• Maintain operational trackers, dashboards, and reporting systems
• Assist with weekly planning reports and performance insights
What You’ll Bring:
• 3–6 years’ experience in operations coordination, planning, or logistics
• Background in manufacturing, joinery, fit-out, or construction environments preferred
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret data and translate it into practical, actionable plans
• Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
• Proficiency in Excel or similar planning tools (experience with Smartsheet advantageous)
• Structured, process-driven approach with a proactive mindset
Qualifications:
• Relevant qualification in operations, supply chain, logistics, or project coordination (advantageous)
Working Environment:
• Office-based role with regular interaction across factory, logistics, and site teams
• Occasional visits to manufacturing facilities or project sites may be required
