Overview:
Lead the design, planning, and implementation of solar power systems, BESS solutions, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and compliant project execution. Provide technical sign-off and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering ✍️💡
• Develop electrical designs for solar, BESS, and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct load flow analysis and equipment sizing for inverters, transformers, etc.

Project Management 📅💼
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate with teams and ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards.

System Integration & Testing 🔌⚙️
• Oversee system commissioning and testing.
• Ensure optimal system performance and prepare as-built documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement 🤝📞
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to internal and external partners.

Continuous Improvement 🔍🌍
• Stay updated on industry advancements.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field. 🎓
• 3-5 years’ experience in electrical design/project management, preferably in renewables. 🌞⚡
• Expertise in solar, BESS, and electrical infrastructure. 🔋
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, PVsyst, ETAP). 💻
• Knowledge of electrical codes (SANS & international). 📜
• Strong project management skills and problem-solving abilities. 📊🧠
• Excellent communication skills. 📝🗣️
• Ability to work independently and in teams. 🤝
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. 🚗✈️

Preferred:
• ECSA registration or equivalent. 🎖️
• Experience with solar projects or microgrids. 🌞🔋
