Project Architect – High-End Hospitality Design

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the design and execution of high-end hospitality projects from concept to completion.
• Oversee the development and coordination of architectural designs, ensuring compliance with design vision, regulations, and client requirements.
• Work across all design stages, with specific experience in Stages 3-6 of architectural work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, engineers, and contractors, to achieve project goals.
• Engage with clients to ensure alignment of vision and project expectations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while overseeing site execution.
• Contribute to BIM workflows and maintain project documentation in Autodesk Revit and the Adobe suite.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level 4).
• Master’s in Architecture (MArch) or Master’s in Architectural Technology (MTech).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in architecture.
• Proven project lead experience, with the ability to manage both design and construction phases.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM workflows, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Mandatory site experience, ensuring design solutions are implemented effectively.
• Extensive experience in Architectural work stages 3-6 (essential).
• Hospitality industry experience is an advantage, especially in high-end or luxury projects.
• A passion for hospitality design and proven leadership in project management.
• South African citizen or eligible to work in South Africa.
• A valid passport for potential international project work.
