🌟 Role Overview
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will:
• Oversee all phases of a design project, including renovations, structural alterations, furnishings, fixtures, fittings, lighting, and colour schemes.
• Lead the development of designs and feasibility studies for hospitality, commercial, leisure, and residential projects.
• Be the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
• Prepare time schedules and manage deliverables to meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards.

🏆 Key Responsibilities
• Lead the conceptualization and execution of design projects, from initial storyboards to final delivery.
• Understand and implement hotel brand standards and guidelines into detailed design specifications.
• Collaborate with clients to translate their vision into tangible designs, maintaining open, engaging communication throughout.
• Develop comprehensive design plans using AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, SketchUp, Photoshop, ensuring precision and adherence to project requirements.
• Foster collaboration with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Mentor junior design team members, nurturing growth and fostering a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
• Maintain strict project management protocols, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Cultivate relationships with suppliers and vendors, leveraging a deep understanding of materials and finishes.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating innovative concepts and approaches in every project.
• Create storyboards and initial design directions, considering materials and costs according to budgets.
• Source products including fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, and décor items, provide samples for clients, and coordinate budgets.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes, often using CAD or relevant software.
• Review drawing and specification documentation packages for technical, operational, cost suitability, and design quality.
• Collaborate with quantity surveyors to establish costs and work schedules when required.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a harmonious team environment, always available to address problems or concerns.
• Take minutes of meetings and distribute them to all team members.

🎯 Candidate Requirements
• 8–10 years of experience in the interior design sector, with a distinct focus on hospitality projects.
• Experience working with key hospitality operators.
• Interior Design or Architecture degree qualification.
• Proven team management skills including team building, coordination, and motivation.
• Experience in client account management.

💡 Skills & Expertise
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, engaging effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to develop design concepts through hand sketches or software (SketchUp or similar).
• Experience managing interior marketing visuals and high-quality renderings.
• Well-rounded knowledge of MEP, lighting, and their integration into interior design.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to deliver design solutions from concept to completion.

💰 Salary: AED 20,000 – 30,000 per month (R95 000 to R145 000/m) – depending on experience, interview, and presentation
