3D Visualizer for International Design company based in Cape Town (Restaurant Design)
Location: Cape Town (Remote)
Salary: Market Related, depending on experience
Our client is an established international design practice specialising in the design and delivery of luxury hospitality, restaurant and food & beverage projects worldwide. They are seeking a talented and creative 3D Visualizer to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position for a candidate based in Cape Town.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for producing exceptional photorealistic architectural and interior visualisations and who enjoys working on prestigious hospitality and restaurant projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce high-quality, photorealistic 3D visualisations for hospitality and restaurant interior design projects.
• Create compelling interior and exterior renderings from existing project files.
• Apply realistic lighting, materials, textures and finishes to accurately communicate design intent.
• Collaborate closely with the interior design team to develop presentation-quality visuals.
• Enhance and finalize renders using Photoshop.
• Work within project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Make revisions based on client and design team feedback.
• Ensure consistency across all visual presentations.
Minimum Requirements
• Approximately 3–7 years’ experience as a 3D Visualizer within the Architecture or Interior Design industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end architectural or interior visualisations.
• Advanced proficiency in:
o 3ds Max
o V-Ray
o Adobe Photoshop
o AutoCAD
• Ability to work from existing 3ds Max and AutoCAD files rather than recreating models from scratch.
• Strong understanding of lighting, materials, textures and composition.
• Excellent eye for detail, colour and spatial design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Hospitality, restaurant or luxury commercial project experience will be highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently within a remote international team.
Advantageous Skills
• Experience with animation or walkthrough presentations.
• Knowledge of additional rendering software such as Corona Renderer, Enscape, Lumion or Unreal Engine.
• Experience working on international hospitality, restaurant or food & beverage projects.
