Construction Project Manager for Interior Design Firm – Cape Town
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects, with a strong focus on quality, cost control, and site performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and direct construction projects from initiation through to completion
• Ensure project requirements, specifications, and timelines are achieved
• Monitor project costs in conjunction with quantity surveyors
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site staff, and construction teams
• Oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on site
• Review and manage project programmes, site progress, drawings, and technical documentation
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and control processes
• Proactively identify potential issues and implement effective solutions
• Evaluate, manage, and reduce project risks
• Maintain accurate project records and administration using electronic and written systems, including:
o Site instructions
o Delay notifications
o Requests for information (RFIs)
o Progress and status reports
• Assist with sourcing quotations and negotiating subcontractor agreements
• Measure completed works and review contractor claims and invoices for approval
• Manage project close-out activities, including defect resolution, final accounts, as-built documentation, operation manuals, and compliance certification
Requirements & Qualifications:
• 3–5 years’ experience in construction project management (interior office fit-out experience preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience using MS Project
• Valid driver’s license

Salary: R30 000- R35 000 Gross
Market related, depending on the Candidate’s current salary, skills, experience, etc.
