CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER: Shopfitting and Installation Company – Unique Custom Made Products
Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 CTC per month
About the Role
Our client, an established company specialising in shop fitting, installations and the manufacturing of unique, customised products, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Relations Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and creating a positive customer experience throughout the entire process. This role requires someone who is highly organised, communicates confidently and can manage client expectations while coordinating effectively with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new, existing and returning clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, requests and service-related matters.
• Ensure clients receive professional, friendly and efficient service at every stage of the process.
• Follow up on quotations, orders, project progress and client requirements.
• Communicate with clients regarding timelines, installations, deliveries and any changes or updates.
• Liaise with sales, production, manufacturing and installation teams to ensure client expectations are met.
• Proactively address client concerns, resolve issues and manage complaints professionally.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to encourage repeat business and strengthen long-term relationships.
• Ensure all client information, communications and follow-ups are accurately recorded.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, service delivery and internal communication.
• Assist with coordinating client requirements to ensure projects run smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion.
Minimum Requirements
• Previous experience in customer relations, client services, account management or a similar role would be advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients from different backgrounds.
• Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple client requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Confident in communicating with clients and coordinating with internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
