Draftsperson (Residential & Commercial)- Position Based in Rustenburg

About the Opportunity
An established and growing architectural practice is seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join their team in Rustenburg. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys producing high-quality technical documentation across a variety of residential and commercial projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with architects and project teams, developing accurate construction documentation from concept through to completion while ensuring compliance with industry standards and municipal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation using Revit.
• Prepare municipal submission and approval drawings.
• Develop working drawings, detailing and technical documentation for residential and commercial projects.
• Revise and update drawings in accordance with design changes and client requirements.
• Coordinate drawing information with architects, consultants and project teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building regulations, standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing records.
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in architectural drafting.
• Proven experience working on residential and commercial projects.
• Revit experience is essential and non-negotiable.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations and technical detailing.
• Experience preparing municipal submission and working drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant Architectural Draughting or Architectural Technology qualification.
• Knowledge of South African building regulations and municipal submission processes.
• Experience collaborating within an architectural practice.
