External Sales Representative – LED Lighting
Location: Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape
Salary: From R18,000 gross per month + commission
Benefit: Company vehicle, depending on experience
About the Role
Our client, a company specialising in LED lighting products and solutions, is seeking a motivated and results-driven External Sales Representative to grow its customer base and drive sales in Gqeberha and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, client visits and lead generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Promote and sell LED lighting products and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales.
• Follow up on leads and quotations to secure business.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain accurate sales records.
• Research market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
Minimum Requirements
• Previous external sales or business development experience.
• Experience in LED lighting, electrical products or technical sales will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to generate leads and meet sales targets.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to clients.
• Self-motivated, proactive and customer-focused.
