Kitchen Designer (2–10 Years’ Experience) Location: West Rand, Gauteng Salary: R10, 000 – R18, 000 basic per month (depending on experience and current salary) + Commission
About the Role
Our clients, established kitchen design companies based on the West Rand, are seeking experienced Kitchen Designers to join their growing teams. This is an excellent opportunity for creative and sales-driven professionals with a passion for bespoke kitchen design and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their design requirements, lifestyle, and budget.
Design custom kitchens, built-in cupboards, and cabinetry solutions.
Prepare detailed design concepts, layouts, and presentations.
Produce accurate quotations and specifications.
Manage projects from initial consultation through to installation.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, installers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintain excellent customer relationships and deliver exceptional service throughout the project.
Minimum Requirements
2–10 years’ experience as a Kitchen Designer.
Experience designing custom kitchens and cabinetry.
Winner Design Software experience preferred but not essential.
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar design packages is advantageous.
Strong sales, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into practical, creative designs.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are advantageous.
Remuneration
Basic salary: R10, 000 – R18, 000 per month, depending on experience, current salary, and industry knowledge.
Attractive commission structure.
