Interior Designer for Corporate Design Firm based in Cape Town

The scope for the Interior Designer role is as follows:

• Senior Interior Designer with 7+ years of experience, who could potentially lead a team
• Experience in corporate interior design and space planning
• Should be interested in working in the Hospitality, Retail, Health, and Commercial sectors – we are looking for an all-rounded individual
• Experience through all work stages (from initiation to concept development & construction) would be advantageous
• Fixed-term contract of 12months
• Salary bracket: 40-60k gross
• Timing: ASAP (i.e., 1 calendar month)
• Must be willing to work in our CPT office

Technical knowledge & experience:

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit and ACC/BIM360, and SketchUp
• Competence in a BIM environment is required to enable collaboration
• Custom furniture and component modelling is of high importance, along with being capable of fully utilising EXCO production manuals and guides for new projects
• A strong technical understanding of the main production software mentioned above, namely Revit as all projects live in work-shared environments
• Working knowledge of Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
