IT Manager for a construction company based in Sandton.

  • Maintained office PCs, networks (LAN and WAN) and mobile devices.
  • Imaged and prepared new computers for integration into company networks and systems.
  • Managed Active Directory, DNS and DHCP on Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Exchange
  • Installed, configured, and supported local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system.
  • Configured systems according to prescribed software and hardware frameworks.
  • Create virtual Environments to Test hardware and software compatibility using Hyper-V and Citrix.
  • Recovered critical information from data backups to restore functionality.
  • System migration
  • Software updates
  • Recommending, scheduling, and performing software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, configuration management, scripting and scheduling, backup management in conjunction with the line manager
  • Develop, document and maintain procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use
  • Setup Access Points (Sophos), Routers, Switches, and other IT infrastructure.
  •  All IT related duties

Diploma/Degree or relevant qualifications: Information Technology

Candidate must be from a Construction or FMCG Industry
