Our client, a highly respected and design-led studio, is seeking Junior Landscape Architects (or Architects with a strong interest in landscape design) to join their growing team in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
This studio works at the forefront of large-scale, complex landscape projects across hospitality, public realm, and ecological restoration sectors. Their work spans multiple continents and integrates closely with leading architects, planners, and specialist consultants.

🌍 About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment, contributing to projects from early-stage visioning and masterplanning through to detailed technical documentation and construction support.
The studio approaches landscape as a core structuring framework, shaping spatial experience, environmental performance, and long-term ecological resilience — not simply as an applied layer.

🛠 Key Responsibilities
• Support design development, conceptual thinking, and project delivery
• Assist with visual communication and presentations
• Produce technical drawings and documentation packages
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across international projects
• Contribute to projects from concept through to construction stages

✅ Core Requirements
• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience
• Exposure to large-scale, complex, multidisciplinary projects
• Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills
• Solid construction knowledge and technical ability
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Revit experience advantageous
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills with clients and consultants
• High attention to detail with the ability to self-review work
• Willingness to travel and work on international projects

• Interest in indigenous planting and landscape restoration
• Understanding of landform, climate, hydrology, and soil systems

South Africa, Tanzania, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, India, Nepal, Portugal (Azores), Costa Rica, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
