Quantity Surveyor – Interior Design & Corporate Fit-Outs
📍 Cape Town (Century City) | Full-Time
💼 Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 (Experience Dependent)
We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Cape Town team. Based at our Century City office, you’ll play a key role in the financial and contractual management of high-end interior design and corporate fit-out projects, with values ranging from R5M to R40M.
This is an ideal opportunity for a mid-career professional in their late 20s to 30s with strong experience in the interiors or construction space—someone confident working across multiple projects and capable of owning the cost management process from concept to closeout.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Prepare and manage detailed Bills of Quantities (covering construction, finishes, and furniture)
• Accurately read, interpret, and scale off technical drawings
• Source new suppliers and negotiate with existing contractors to secure best pricing and terms
• Compile project-specific rates and cost plans
• Track project spend and report on variances under tight deadlines
• Support the regional Director on cost strategy and procurement decisions
• Work across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Provide insight into cost-saving opportunities and value engineering

What We’re Looking For:
• Formal QS qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in interior fit-outs, construction, or related sectors
• Strong working knowledge of finishes, fittings, and furniture pricing
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
• Able to thrive under pressure and deliver under tight time constraints
• Organised, analytical, and comfortable working with large project budgets
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license (essential)
