Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Large Hotel Projects and Mixed-Use Developments

An Exciting Opportunity in the Seychelles
Our client, a well-established construction and interior fit-out company delivering prestigious hospitality and luxury development projects throughout the Seychelles, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
This role is ideally suited to a Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in interior fit-out, hospitality, hotel, resort, and high-end commercial projects. Candidates with extensive civil engineering-only backgrounds may not be the ideal fit, as the focus of this position is on large-scale interior construction and fit-out works.
Applicants must be willing and able to relocate to the Seychelles.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimates.
• Develop project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documentation.
• Manage tendering processes and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
• Draft and administer subcontract agreements and contracts.
• Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports.
• Analyse rates, pricing structures, and project expenditures.
• Manage procurement processes, including supplier and subcontractor selection.
• Prepare and submit monthly valuations, payment applications, and certificates.
• Assess and manage variations, contractual claims, and change orders.
• Maintain and update procurement schedules and project cash flow forecasts.
• Finalise project accounts upon completion.
• Attend site meetings, progress reviews, and client coordination meetings.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and commercial performance.
• Assist project teams with value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure commercial compliance throughout all phases of project delivery.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Proven experience on large hospitality, hotel, resort, luxury residential, or interior fit-out projects will be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, cost control, and project administration.
• Experience managing subcontractors, valuations, and project financial reporting.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficient in industry-standard Quantity Surveying and project management software.
• Must be willing to relocate and work in the Seychelles.
