About the Role
Our client, an established company specialising in shop fitting, installations and the manufacturing of unique, customised products, is looking for a driven and personable Sales Representative to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, visiting clients, building strong relationships and promoting the company’s specialised products and services. This role is ideal for a confident, target-driven individual who enjoys working with people, identifying new opportunities and growing a client base.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales and lead generation.
• Visit prospective and existing clients to present the company’s products and services.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations and assist with closing sales.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Promote the company’s unique shop fitting, manufacturing and installation offerings.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients to encourage repeat business and identify additional opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends and new business prospects.
• Manage the sales pipeline and follow up on leads to convert opportunities into sales.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements are communicated accurately and projects are delivered in line with expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of client visits, sales activities and opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
• Previous sales or business development experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• A confident, professional and customer-focused approach.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to generate leads and pursue new business.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage client visits and follow-ups effectively.
• Must be comfortable travelling to meet clients and develop business opportunities.
• A valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport would be advantageous.
