An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist / Senior Technical Revit Specialist to join a well-established and highly respected architectural practice based in Durban, KZN.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented professional with solid Revit expertise and the ability to manage the technical development of projects from early sketch design through to construction documentation.

The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Candidate with approximately 8–10 years of experience, who can confidently take projects through the full technical design process.
The successful candidate will work closely with Architects and consultants to develop and coordinate designs across various project stages, ensuring technical excellence and high-quality documentation delivery.
This is a predominantly office-based technical role, focused on producing and coordinating project documentation rather than site-based project management.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop architectural concepts from initial sketch design in collaboration with Architects
• Produce and manage technical documentation in Revit
• Coordinate drawings and technical information with engineers and consultants
• Prepare and manage municipal council submission drawings and documentation
• Produce detailed working drawings and construction documentation
• Ensure technical accuracy, coordination, and compliance throughout project stages
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to support successful project delivery
Requirements
• 8–10 years of professional experience in an architectural technical role
• Strong proficiency in Revit (essential)
• Solid understanding of the full architectural technical process
• Experience coordinating with engineers and external consultants
• Strong knowledge of municipal submission processes and technical documentation
• Ability to produce accurate and highly detailed working drawings
• Professional, proactive, and solutions-driven mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be Durban-based or willing to relocate to Durban
