Senior Interior Designer – Luxury Hospitality & High-End Residential
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international design firm for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join their global team. This is an exciting opportunity for a design professional with a strong background in 5-star hospitality projects and high-end residential interiors, looking to work on prestigious international developments while based in South Africa.
Role Overview
This senior-level position is ideal for a creative and technically skilled designer who can confidently lead projects and contribute across all phases of design. The role offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating with international teams on large-scale luxury projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver interior design projects from concept through to completion
• Develop innovative, high-end design concepts aligned with client briefs
• Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and presentation material
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project teams globally
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Requirements
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in interior design
• Strong background in 5-star international hotels and high-end residential projects
• Proven experience working on large-scale luxury developments
• Highly proficient in CAD, BIM, and SketchUp
• Strong technical knowledge, including detailing and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying aligned with international teams
Location & Working Setup
• Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg
• Remote working role, with full access to company systems and servers
