Senior Revit Technician / Revit Operator
Permanent Position | Johannesburg North
A growing design studio is looking for an experienced Senior Revit Technician / Revit Operator to join their team in Johannesburg North.
This is a technical production-focused role suited to a highly skilled Revit professional who can translate developed interior design concepts into accurate, coordinated and construction-ready documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed Revit models and comprehensive construction drawing packages.
• Produce plans, RCPs, elevations, sections, joinery details and schedules.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, coordinated and issued within project deadlines.
• Coordinate drawings with designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and joinery teams.
• Identify and flag technical, detailing or buildability issues.
• Assist with maintaining Revit standards, templates, families and documentation workflows.
• Review and quality-check work produced by additional or freelance Revit technicians when required.
• Maintain a consistently high standard of technical documentation across projects.
Requirements
• 3+ years’ hands-on Revit experience in a professional project environment.
• Strong Revit documentation and detailing skills.
• Proven experience producing complete construction drawing sets.
• Strong understanding of interior construction, joinery, shopfitting, ceilings, flooring and finishes.
• Experience within commercial interiors, hospitality, retail or similar fit-out environments would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadline pressure.
• Strong technical problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Own vehicle and driver’s licence would be advantageous for occasional site visits.
